I’ve always had a love for photography. When I was little, I’d pull all of my Grandma’s albums out and look at them for hours, fascinated by all of the black and white images of a lifetime before me. When I was old enough, I borrowed whatever camera was handy, snapping images of the world and people around me (including those stuffed animals, and pesky little brothers!). I would look through what I had captured again and again.

When I finally had children of my own, they became my inspiration. I quit taking them to all of the chain photography stores, because they didn’t seem to be able to capture their true personality. Since then, I’ve taken on photography at a whole new level. To me, watching someone’s face light up when they see their finished images is something that I look forward to with each session.
